Parallel cell culture pack
Easily shift to microfluidics for your dynamic cell culture with this all-included user-friendly, customizable, and automatable parallel cell culture pack.
A state-of-the-art flow controller can be coupled with inline sensors to recirculate the medium for dynamic cell cultures precisely. Thanks to its compact design, you can keep the cells in the incubator while running several medium channels simultaneously and independently.
Microfluidics can also be used for studying cell-cell interactions.
How we make the setup more compact:
- Reduced dead volume, thanks to recirculation valves mounted directly to the flow sensors
- Less tubing valves that reduce pneumatic tubing by half
- Easier to disconnect and move since there is only one flat cable connecting the valves and the flow sensors
- Elimination of trapped bubbles
This pack allows you to recirculate the medium in your dynamic cell culture, providing the ideal conditions for your experiment. The setup consists of an easy-to-manipulate housing that can be easily put in and out of the incubator. This parallel cell cultures pack combines reproducibility with flexibility to empower your research.

Why use microfluidics for parallel cell culture
Microfluidics is currently the most efficient method for performing dynamic cell culture and growing cells in physiologically relevant conditions. It provides continuous flow to the cells and allows you to colocalize more than one cell type in the same experiment, an essential aspect of cell-cell interactions.
Microfluidics is also compatible with other biological applications and microscope imaging. As mentioned above, the automatized sequence can also be implemented to keep the recirculation running for long periods.
The Microfluidics Innovation Center can also integrate the microfluidic platform, making it even more compact and easy to use. Different chips can be used for the same system to easily observe different samples in parallel.
This pack can be combined with other microfluidic steps following the dynamic cell culture, such as sequential drug injection or sampling.
With expertise in microfluidic flow control for more than 10 years, we can provide you with state-of-the-art microfluidic systems. From biology to engineering applications, the Microfluidics Innovation Center is the perfect partner for you to get started with microfluidics.
Customize your pack
Several commercialized and laboratory made microfluidic chip – including from microfluidic ChipShop – have been developed and tested to perform parallel cell cultures. We can include one of them with different surface modifications inside the pack. A chip can also have several separated channels.
Our Packs are fully customizable to your needs. Our microfluidic specialists and researchers will help you choose the best instruments and accessories and accompany you during the setup of the microfluidic platform until you get your first experimental results.
All the instruments are controlled by the same ESI software, allowing workflow automation and easy integration in your program with free available libraries.
