We take care of microfluidic engineering, work on valorization and optimize the proposal with you
We had the great pleasure of hosting Miguel António Dias Neves (MSc, PhD) from i3S – Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde (Institute for Research and Innovation in Health, Porto, Portugal), our partner in the LifeSaver Project between the 25th to 28th of March, 2024.
The goal of his visit was to get trained on the set up and use of our microfluidic platform to control a placenta-on-chip. The technology will be used as an in vitro tool to study the transport of chemicals from the mother to her baby for chemical risk assessment in pregnancy. Together, we also progressed with optimising protocols for proof of concept functional demonstration.
