Fun fluidics
Yes, it can be fun to work with microfluidics! Ready to explore the cool side of science?
Microfluidics usually shows up in research papers, lab instruments and industrial pipelines. There is another side to it. A side where fluids at the microscale turn into a playground for curiosity, a medium for art, and a source of small experiments anyone can try at home.
This section gathers that side of our work. You will find hands-on workshops like our bioremediation session, simple protocols to measure how fast water flows using ordinary kitchen objects, and visual explorations of microfluidics hidden inside living things, such as the vascular networks of flowers.
The idea is straightforward. Microfluidic phenomena shape biology, medicine and the food we eat, yet most people never get to see them. Making those phenomena visible, touchable and sometimes beautiful is how we share why this field matters, and why it can also be genuinely fun.
