Our Innovation Specialist, Camila Betterelli Giuliano, PhD, visited the lab of Federico Vozzi, one of the collaborators of the H2020 Project ALTERNATIVE, in Pisa, Italy from 14th to 16th of May, 2024.
With them, we have developed a microfluidic platform for long-term perfusion of cardiac cells, to mimic the effects of pollution on them.
Our main goal is to develop equipment that truly fulfills researchers’ needs so it’s important to be close to where the action happens! 🎯 This week Camila helped solve some bottlenecks and got valuable feedback on how to make things run more smoothly. Time to get back to the drawing board and prepare the next iterations. 📝
