After our productive meeting in Freiburg, we headed straight to Pisa for one of the final consortium meetings of our H2020 project, ALTERNATIVE. We were warmly welcomed by our host, Federico Vozzi from CNR-PISA, and had some engaging, lively discussions as the project draws to a close. With the finish line in sight, it was crucial for all partners to align tasks and ensure we’re set up for the best possible outcomes.
The ALTERNATIVE project is focused on developing an advanced in vitro platform to test the effects of air pollutants on cardiac tissue, and is coordinated by Gianluca Ciardelli at Politecnico di Torino.
