Your microfluidic SME partner for Horizon Europe
We take care of microfluidic engineering, work on valorization and optimize the proposal with you

Here’s your role:
- You handle the writing of European proposals quickly and efficiently, with funding as the goal
- You work across a wide range of scientific fields
- You define projects directly with the CEO and discuss them with partners over video calls and email
- You reply fast to our outreach emails to researchers: 24 hours is a lot; 48 hours is an eternity
Your profile in 6 points:
- You hold a PhD and/or a Master’s in science
- You have a strong appetite for AI tools, and the skill to use them to go further and faster alongside us
- You have a solid scientific background and genuine technological curiosity
- You think in terms of market and valuation
- You’re action-driven, and you like stringing actions together all the way to success
- Your English is flawless, both written and spoken
➔ At MIC, we like people of action, creative minds, self-starters, the curious, and people who are demanding of themselves but take care of those around them. Those who do more than they talk, those who want an intense life full of contrasts. Those who bring croissants!
How the interviews work
A recruitment process that moves quickly:
- Mindset questionnaire to join MIC (don’t use ChatGPT; we want to know you)
- A quick call to get to know you
- Video interview and technical test
- Video interview with the CEO
- A meeting at our offices with the MIC team and the CEO
- Welcome!
About us
A major technological revolution is underway in biotechnology, accelerating medicine like never before.
Microfluidics is one of its cornerstones.
Our mission is to accelerate the biotech revolution as fast as we can, in every way we can, through microfluidics.
Our company
The Microfluidics Innovation Center was founded by three researcher-entrepreneurs in 2011 as a business unit of the Elvesys group. We run collaborative research to build deeptech companies in Europe.
We develop microfluidic prototypes within European consortia to solve researchers’ problems. In parallel, we test market appetite for these prototypes and turn them into products. Once the business model is set and the funding plan validated, we license the technology or spin off a new deeptech company.
We’ve already created 10 innovative companies that today make up the Microfluidic Valley. In short, we’re both an industrial research lab and a startup incubator.
In 2023, we chose to become independent so we could fully tap our innovative and entrepreneurial potential. And to protect our freedom to innovate and carry out our missions on our own terms, we decided to take on no investors and stay a tribe.
Our culture
No routine here: our job is to leave the beaten path. We’re doers! We always look to innovate in a way no one else would. We have oceans to cross to fulfill our mission, and we stay together to weather the storms!
How to apply
Send your CV by email to rh@microfluidic.fr and drop the sentence “I want to join the tribe” into your message.
You’ll get a reply with our mindset questionnaire to fill in and send back.
