i3S visit
November 18-22, 2024- Paris
From November 18 to 22, we had the pleasure of hosting our partners Miguel António Dias Neves (MSc, PhD) and Mathis Ogire from i3S – Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde. They visited the MIC to take the next step in our collaboration in the LIFESAVER project.
After the MIC successfully built and automated the placenta-function-on-chip platform, it was time to test the permeability of compounds within the system.
Following this visit, we’ll be packing up our “baby” for transfer to their labs, where advanced tests with a placenta-mimicking membrane will take place.
Stay tuned and follow the LIFESAVER project page to keep up with the latest outcomes and developments!
