FTI-2018-2020 call
Fast Track to Innovation: FTI-2018-2020 call
You are an SME or a start-up and need a financial boost to demonstrate and validate your innovation?
You are a research lab developing a promising industry-driven innovative concept and would like to collaborate with companies to bring a product to the market?
You have a first valuable prototype of an innovative product but would need a helping hand to finish it?
Then the FTI call is made for you!
How can we help, as a microfluidic SME partner?
The ultimate goal of the FTI-2018-2020 call is to enter the market within three years of the project’s beginning. The technology/ies you want to develop in the course of the FTI project need(s) to already be at TRL 6 in the beginning and should be brought up to TRL 8 (TRL = Technology Readiness Level).
To help you reach this objective and finalize your innovative product, the MIC can bring its expertise in microfluidic instrumentation and flow management to your consortium.
More specifically, we can
- Develop innovative microfluidic instruments that can be integrated into your product
- Help you to optimize and automate your microfluidic set-up
- Create user-friendly and ready-to-use platforms to facilitate the use of microfluidics in your system
Besides science, what can the MIC do for your innovative project?
- Do you have a prototype ready but are unsure about H2020 European funding? We submitted hundreds of H2020 projects, and we would be happy to share our tips for a successful H2020 FTI application with you!
To get an overview, you can have a look at our page about RIA proposals; most of the advice also applies to an FTI proposal. - Innovation is in our DNA. By collaborating with us, you will benefit from our experience in market-driven research and end-user-oriented innovation.
- The MIC can participate in disseminating your FTI project by sharing information about the research project on our website or through videos published on our YouTube channel.
The MIC already brought its microfluidics expertise into many research projects:
H2020-NMBP-TR-IND-2020
Microfluidic platform to study the interaction of cancer cells with lymphatic tissue
H2020-LC-GD-2020-3
Toxicology assessment of pharmaceutical products on a placenta-on-chip model
